Praetorian Swordsman Officer of the Primus rank accompanied by their Standard Bearers lead fellow swordsmen in battle against the enemies of the Skorne Empire. Those who stand out from their fellows, survive numerous battles, and demonstrate their ability to command as well as to obey become dakars. Rising above that rank requires even more: proven loyalty, the respect that comes from being born to a powerful house, and tremendous intelligence and aptitude for command. Only these few, the warrior-elite of the skorne, can earn promotion to Primus.[1]
Praetorian high officers hold themselves in exclusive company and command many subordinates on the field of battle. A primus leads by example, knowing that no losses are too great to secure victory. He directs his men in advanced tactics and leads them in devastating attacks that take full advantage of each individual Praetorian’s skill. Tyrants rely heavily upon these chosen lieutenants.
