Pureblood Warpwolves are the result of generations of breeding between warpwolves resulting in the loss of the taint of man. Purebloods. Unlike their warpwolf parents, purebloods perpetually exist in their “natural” warpwolf state. The only indication of humanity inherited from their parents lies in their intelligence. While they lack the restraints of conscience, they possess cunning beyond any simple beast. Purebloods do not need a human form to speak but their vocal apparatus does not suit lengthy speech and those unfamiliar with these beasts find it difficult to understand them.[1][2]
Purebloods naturally draws other warpwolves to them and often fulfill the leadership role within a pack, further increasing their usefulness to the druids of Circle Orboros wishing to use warpwolves in their forces. Senior druids have found them capable of surprising insight, adaptive tactical brilliance, and bold, ruthless courage. In battle purebloods can use the supernatural essence of their blood to become as insubstantial as fog, passing through obstacles to reach the enemy. They can unleash this same primal power in a discordant howl that opens bleeding rents in flesh and can even shatter stone.[1][2]
